I'd like to thank everyone who has assisted in providing and researching the information needed to make this site possible. Initially, I intended merely to research my family origins and document them on software I had already purchased. High interest amongst other family members prompted me to make this information available on this website. Lastly, I'd like to dedicate this site to Marion Newcombe Horton, my grandmother, as a testimonial to her dedication to family.

While as much as has been verified, there is a certian amount of information which can not be conclusively verified. For example, as I got into the older generations, much of the information had to be taken from family Bibles and other church records. I do not discredit those records, I am merely pointing out that there are circumstances where official government records are not available, or perhaps just haven't been found. I welcome any information which disputes this material, especially if it identifies someone who has been left out. I do not post this site or the information contained here-in as all conclusive, but rather a beginning.
